Mrs. Onuma offers a Tone Chime Club on Tuesdays during the lunch recess. Because there is a limited number of possible players for this kind of music group, it is an auditioned group of Grade 4/5 students. We had a lot of fun performing at a senior’s home this past December, as well as at our own school concert.
These tone chimes are used in regular music classes as well. They make wonderful accompaniment for singing and are beautiful with recorders. We even used them for our Remembrance Day Whole School Song one year.
A huge “Thank you” to the Campus View parents for secretly collecting funds at Christmas to purchase Mrs. Onuma an additional set of Tone Chimes for our music program. We really appreciate your strong support of our music program.
