We are continuing to add to the number of devices in our school technology supply.  Since we do not have a computer lab at Campus View our Intermediate students are using ‘Chromebooks’ as a tool that helps students access Google Apps for Education (GAFE).  GAFE is a suite of tools we are using in the school / school district that allows students to use digital tools (Chromebooks) to make learning visible, share learning, and become competent, literate digital citizens.  While we have some families that have chosen to invest in a Chromebook for their own student, it is important that we continue to build availability in our school supply of devices so that all students continue to have access when it can help their thinking and learning.  If you are interested in making a donation to help us purchase Chromebooks, we would welcome your help.  Our PAC is pleased to accept donations in any amount toward this endeavor.

Donations are accepted in our PAC box outside the office and our PAC would be happy to issue you a tax receipt.  As well, if you know of others or a business who would be interested in helping our school with this endeavour, please contact our PAC President at  cvpacpres@gmail.com  If you have questions about what a Chromebook is or why we have chosen Chromebooks, we are happy to provide more information through our office. Our goal, in the end, is to apply judicious, and appropriate use of technology to support all learners that is thoughtfully aligned with the new BC Curriculum.
