How to Volunteer?
The PAC is always looking for extra help to run events, deliver hot lunches, participate on the executive committee when vacancies arise. Please email cvpacpres@gmail.com or speak to a member of the PAC in person if you would like to help run a program or an idea of your initiative. We hope all families will register on the hot lunch website – even if you do not want a hot lunch, it facilitates our communication with you and makes you a part of our list serve. It also allows us to share your email with your class rep for class functions / organizing. The link is : http://campusview.hotlunches.net/
Be a Class Rep: Each classroom has a PAC rep that forwards PAC announcements to parents via email. Class reps are often asked to help enlist parents for various events and thus creates an email directory at the beginning of the year so parents can be connected and arrange playdates, etc. Typically, before winter break and at the end of the school year, the class rep collects a voluntary donation from parents to purchase a class gift for the teacher. Please speak to Karen Watson early in Sept if you would like to be a class rep.
By attending a PAC meeting (see school calendar for dates and times), volunteering or joining the PAC Executive, you can get a better glimpse into what’s happening first hand. You can also follow us on facebook to find out news on the most current happenings.
