Good afternoon Campus View families.
I am writing a short note to update you about our latest health changes and to ensure there is full understanding / no confusion. I have also added a reminder about ‘Pink Shirt Day’.
Health Regulation Changes
- There are a few recent changes to our cleaning protocols, and a new requirement that staff wear masks even when in their own cohorts, when they cannot maintain physical distance or are not separated by barriers. Adults in our buildings are already wearing masks in common areas and adults visiting a cohort wear masks – this has been the case since the start of the year.
- We have new sign in / out procedures and health check procedures for all adults entering the building.
- There are no changes for students in elementary schools when it comes to masks – this is entirely voluntary.
- There is no requirement for adults to wear masks outside when on the grounds however, it continues to be important to practice physical distancing for everyone’s ongoing health.
Kindness / Pink Shirt Day Calendar Reminder
Pink shirt day was originally a day that reminded us all about the impacts of bullying. It has now become a day when we remind one another about the importance of kindness and inclusion – the behaviors we want rather than the unwanted behavior of bullying. Of course, this is an important message in schools and in society. If you would like to join us in this recognition, please wear pink shirts this Wednesday!
